Smashing MagGoogle PageRank has been one of those things a lot of people will use as a guide to tell them how well their site is doing in search engine wise. It has always been pretty unclear about what the number really means.

Well Smashing Magazine just did a great article to clear the air. It is a massive article but is easy to read and well structured. I highly recommend the article.
